We are constantly being bombarded by the news media telling us about the “Great Resignation.” This phenomenon is actually nothing new. It happens after every downturn. In the recruiting world we call it “the churn.”

So, in September 2021, we surveyed 178 Smart Buildings Professionals just to get an idea of what talent in the Smart Buildings niche was thinking. The question simply was, “Are you open to a new career opportunity?” “Survey says…”

Out of 178 Smart Buildings professionals, 24% are actively looking. If all you do is “post” (and “hope”), that is your addressable talent pool.
